Chicago Bears NFL Draft: Final QB rankings, possible trade included
By Ryan Heckman
Realistic QB rankings for Round 1
If the Bears trade up (which I don’t think they will) their options will be limited in the first round. Short of trading a wealth of future picks, the Bears probably won’t be able to jump into the top 10. So, here are your realistic quarterback options for Round 1.

Jordan Love, Utah State
That’s it — it’s Jordan Love or bust in the first round. He is more than likely the only quarterback to fall around pick no. 20, if any of them in the first fall that far. We know Joe Burrow is going no. 1 and Tua Tagovailoa will be quick to follow, despite concerns about his health.
Justin Herbert will likely go in the top 20 as well, leaving Love as the fourth quarterback off the board.
Love is quite the polarizing prospect, because on film you see two different guys at times. On one hand, you see a kid who can make some of the craziest throws on the run and he’ll obviously remind you of someone like Patrick Mahomes.
But, on the other hand, you’ll see Love trust his arm far too much on many occasions. He has plenty of film which shows him forcing the ball when he shouldn’t, so turnovers are a big question mark. It’s actually funny, because Love reminds me a lot of a more mobile Jay Cutler. He’ll do things that make your jaw drop, but the next thing you know, he’s chucking it into triple coverage for no reason.
The draw definitely comes with the mobility and arm talent, but Love is a risk no matter where he ends up falling.
