Chicago Bears: 5 prospects to avoid at 50th overall

4. OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn
Another offensive tackle, Prince Tega Wanogho has drawn mixed reviews this draft process. To some, he’s worth taking a chance on. However, to others, there’s a lot that he has to work on. Considering the Bears offensive tackles for 2020 are likely set in stone, Wanogho doesn’t seem to be a prime option for them.
One of the biggest things that offensive lineman need to be able to do once they get to the NFL is play with power. However, Wanogho seems to lack this which is an issue since he’s going to be tasked with stopping powerful defensive lineman and edge rushers.
One of the things that the Bears could consider is drafting an offensive tackle and moving them inside to right guard because some players are just better suited to move to guard at the NFL level. This doesn’t seem to be the case with Wanogho.
The reality is that Wangho has his limitations and the Bears are better off hoping someone like Alex Bars, who’s already on the roster is able to develop into a future starting offensive lineman for them.
