Chicago Bears: Three reasons to trade for Odell Beckham Jr.

There are some things to consider when evaluating Odell Beckham Jr. He is, by all accounts, a diva. He has brought some off the field things to the table throughout his career. There isn’t anything with the law that we know of or anything like that but he is just loud sometimes. He had issues before about which watch he is or isn’t allowed to wear on the field. Things like that are what have given him that reputation.

The Bears would need to be able to handle that type of situation. They, according to most people, have a very strong locker room in Chicago. With Nick Foles coming to town, things might get even better. They certainly would be able to help Beckham Jr. out in that area because it is clear that a lot of it is just him really wanting to win.

With all of that said, make no mistake about it, Beckham Jr. is an elite football player. He is one of the best receivers in the history of the NFL as far as pure god-given talent. He just needs to have consistent targets on a good team. The Bears might be able to give him everything he needs to get the most out of his skill if one of the two quarterbacks play well. This is a trade that would be a brilliant idea for the Bears front office as they try and win in 2020.
