Allen Robinson

Allen Robinson is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the National Football League. The Bears have had him be a great player for them for two years now and he doesn’t really even have anyone good throwing to him ever. The two starting quarterbacks Robinson has ever had throwing to him were Mitchell Trubisky and Blake Bortles. Those aren’t the two most electric names of all time and Nick Foles might not be that much of an upgrade.

However, if Robinson lined up on the opposite side of the field as Odell Beckham Jr., that would make things even better for him. Robinson always sees the toughest defensive back matchups in most games but that would all change if the Bears had Beckham. As good of a player as Robinson is,  Odell Beckham Jr.’s Raw talent is far superior.

Beckham Jr. would then start to see all of the toughest matchups which would in-turn make Allen Robinson’s life a lot easier. He would then potentially have the chance to be even more lethal out there. If Robinson ever had some tough coverage that would open the game up for OBJ. It would certainly be a wide receiver duo to be excited about.

It might remind people of the years where the Pittsburgh Steelers had Juju Smith-Shuster and Antonio Brown or when the Indianapolis Colts had Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison. It would really help this offense try and grow just enough to support that lethal defense.
