Division Rivals

The Chicago Bears play in a division that could end up being very strong or very weak in 2020. The Green Bay Packers had a good record in 2019 but for some reason, outside of Aaron Rodgers, they really aren’t that scary. We don’t know if the Detroit Lions are going to draft Tua Tagovailoa or keep Matthew Stafford but they probably won’t be any good. There are also the Minnesota Vikings who look like Super Bowl contenders one year and a non-playoff team some other years.

Well, the Chicago Bears should try to acquire Beckham Jr. from the Cleveland Browns just to keep him away from the rest of the division. The Vikings are already in rumors to be working on a deal for him and that would make them a better football team. The Green Bay Packers having a guy like that to trow to for Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t be much fun for Bears fans to see either.

The Cleveland Browns wouldn’t hesitate to trade him to any team in the NFC North because they are in the AFC themselves. It wouldn’t hurt them at all to see him go to one of these teams so it could very well happen. If the Bears feel that they can get this deal done in a smart way, they should because they need to keep him away from the other teams in the division.
