1.  IOL Matt Hennessy, Temple

We’ve got a pretty good idea of what the Bears starting offensive line will look like in 2020 but Matt Hennessy would be a sweet addition to a group that’s going to be remade by offensive line coach Juan Castillo. The only position that doesn’t have a surefire starter is right guard where the Bears are relying on Germain Ifedi to turn his career around.

That’s where Hennessy comes into the picture. Let’s say the Bears are looking for a starter that will be in Chicago for at least the next decade. Hennessy, who started for three seasons in college could help fill the void.

While Hennessy played center, he can be groomed to play right guard as well. He doesn’t bring a lot of power to the position but he does do a good job of getting out into space and blocking, something the Bears value on offense.

He’s one of the smartest offensive linemen in the 2020 NFL Draft as well and while he has some room to grow, he is the kind of player who can develop into a full-time starter for any team. Overall, Hennessy has to be in consideration at 50th overall because he’d give the Bears offensive line the aggressive mindset that the whole unit lacked in 2019.
