Chicago Bears 7-Round Mock Draft: A perfect trade back scenario
By Ryan Heckman
Round 6, Pick 197: Cornerback Reggie Robinson, Tulsa
I love the idea of getting Reggie Robinson on the Bears, especially as a sixth-round guy. Some of the knocks on him are that he has to work on being more fluid and loose, and that’s something he can work on.

But, as for his production, prototypical cornerback size and overall frame, Robinson offers a lot to like. He’s 6-foot-1 and physical at the line of scrimmage. His ball skills are up there with the best of them, and he was looked at as a huge winner at the Combine. Adding Robinson to the mix as a backup would be a win.
Round 6, Pick 201: Linebacker Markus Bailey, Purdue
With their other sixth-round pick, the Bears nab a former teammate of their newest tight end from Purdue in Markus Bailey. He is a little undersized at just 6-feet tall and weighing 235 pounds, but Bailey is a lunch pail type of guy.
Truthfully, I see Bailey as a potential replacement for Nick Kwiatkoski. I think he offers similar characteristics. Bailey makes up for his lack of size with pure effort on every single play. He is a great tackler and doesn’t miss many. Bailey is an ideal fit on the inside and is a can’t-miss type of pick in the later rounds.
