Chicago Bears NFL Draft: Potential 5th Round steals
By Ryan Heckman
4. Wide Receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty
In addition to Hodgins, one of my favorite receiver prospects in this draft, Antonio Gandy-Golden, would be a phenomenal pick in the fifth round. Quite honestly, he would be an even better selection than Hodgins.

Gandy-Golden has done everything you want to see out of a small school prospect. The 6-foot-4 big-bodied wideout is coming off yet another productive season as a senior. Over his past two years, Gandy-Golden has caught 70-plus passes for over 1,000 yards and a pair of 10-touchdown campaigns to boot.
As a senior, though, he came just shy of 1,400 yards and averaged a whopping 17.7 yards per receptions. He has just about everything you want to see out of a WR1 type of mold — and he’d be playing next to an established WR1 in Allen Robinson.
Gandy-Golden has a unique combo of size and speed. For a bigger guy, he ran an impressive 4.6 in his Combine 40-yard dash. To go with his frame, he also has an uncanny ability to high-point the football while tracking it on deeper routes. His catch radius is enormous, and he knows how to use his body to position himself for a big-time catch.
The biggest area he needs to improve is in his route running. If he sharpens that up, Gandy-Golden will be a very good pro.
