You thought Chicago would erupt by landing Carmelo Anthony back in the day? That reaction wouldn’t hold a candle to the Bulls landing Anthony Davis.

Look, I know it’s a pipe dream. But, Karnisovas is going to prove he has some serious stones if he at least secures a meeting. If he can get his pitch, who knows what will happen.
Of course, with Davis being from Chicago, there’s that aspect of the situation. Coming home to play for his city and a new-look, new-feel Bulls organization may be attractive to him.
He would be the face fo the franchise, and even though I’m sure he enjoys playing with LeBron James, there is something to be said about representing a team as their go-to player.
Davis would require a maximum salary, so all of that cap space the Bulls just cleared? Yeah, it’s all but gone. Although, they may have some room still to add one more key veteran to their starting five.
