Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are an interesting potential trade partner because, first of all, they have three picks in the first round (No. 5, No. 18 and No. 26). The later of their two picks came from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans last year, when they traded away Minkah Fitzpatrick and Laremy Tunsil.

So, if the Bears wanted to move into the first round, they could definitely look at the 18th and 26th spots with Miami. However, they could also look to move back and acquire more capital, which is the more likely scenario.

For example, if the Bears dealt pick no. 43 to Miami, they might be able to return pick 56 in the second round, pick 70 in the third round and an additional pick in the 5th or 6th round.

If they didn’t want to sacrifice their earliest pick, the Bears could deal no. 50 for picks no. 56 and no. 70, assuming Miami had someone they really liked at 50.

Either way, finding a deal with Miami might be easier than with most teams considering they have stockpiled their picks over the last year or so.
