Chicago Bears: Five players to consider at 43rd overall
By Usayd Koshul
4. S Jeremy Chinn, Southern Illinois
The Bears have a need at safety next to Eddie Jackson and they’ve already met with Jeremy Chinn on multiple occasions. This makes Chinn a strong candidate to be drafted at 43rd overall. Drafting Chinn wouldn’t just give the Bears a dynamic playmaker. It’d give them a long-term solution to the strong safety position for at least the next four years.
Chinn is a physical safety who can bring versatility to a defense. Another big aspect to his game is physicality. He’s always willing to deliver big hits meaning that if developed correctly, he could become a force next to Eddie Jackson very quickly.
Of all the players on this list, Chinn is easily one of the biggest candidates to be selected at 43rd overall and should be very high up on the Bears draft board. What the Bears would be getting in him is a player that would very quickly become a core part of the defense.
