3. Trade into early 2nd for OT Josh Jones

The Bears have over $19 million wrapped up between their two tackles this season. But, Charles Leno and Bobby Massie could both use a little kick in the behind. The Bears have to come away with competition on the offensive line, and it would be nice to obtain competition at both guard and tackle.

One guy who should be a first-round talent, but would be worth trading up for should he fall a bit, is Houston’s Josh Jones.

Trade Example: Bears send picks no. 43, 197 and a future third-rounder to the Indianapolis Colts for no. 34 this year and a future seventh-round selection

Jones is a heck of an athlete at the tackle position and moves really well overall. He would be an upgrade over a guy like Leno, primarily because of his potential to work more effectively outside on pass rushers. He also gets to the second level pretty fast.

Training camp sure would be interesting if the Bears brought in a highly drafted offensive lineman, especially at tackle. If they made a move for a top tackle, I would assume they try and trade either Leno or Massie if they could.
