Take advantage of the defense

The Bears have a stellar defense. They have absolute studs like Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Akiem Hicks, and Kyle Fuller amongst other great players. They are a group that is good enough to win the Super Bowl. They are good at taking the ball away and they are especially good at keeping the opposition from scoring points. They say defense wins championships but you need to be able to score some points.

They don’t have time to waste with this group. There is no telling exactly how long they will have some of these guys in their prime. They have a generationally great player in Khalil Mack and they gave up a lot to get him. It would be a real shame to waste having a great player like that. They need to take advantage and that defense and they will never be able to do that with Trubisky commanding the offense.

Having a good quarterback is essential. The last three Super Bowl Champions had good defenses and that is also important, but an MVP like Nick Foles, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes was able to get it done for their teams. The Bears need to keep the guy who has done it before and that is Foles.
