Chicago Bears: Three reasons to trade Mitchell Trubisky

Nick Foles gives them the best chance to win

Mitchell Trubisky was not good in 2019. He was okay in 2018 but has taken a major step back. They need to make sure that this team has someone good under center in 2020 otherwise they will not make many improvements in the standings if any at all. If they want to make it back to the playoffs, they need Nick Foles in there.

They traded for Foles so they might as well use him. They also pay him a lot of money and gave up a fourth-round pick to acquire him from Jacksonville. With all of that is no reason for him to be the backup quarterback. You don’t pay all of that for him to not get the starting job over the kid who can’t get it done. They need to get Foles in there right away.

Foles is no superstar but he has gotten it done in the past. In fact, he has defeated Mitchell Trubisky in the playoffs once before. You might remember it as “The Cody Parkey Game”. The year before that he went in for the injured Carson Wentz and took them all the way to the Super Bowl. He was the Super Bowl MVP in that game and the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. Moving on from Trubisky would
