Chicago Blackhawks. Patrick Kane. 1. player. 94. . RW

There is a case to be made that Patrick Kane is the greatest player to ever put on a Chicago. Blackhawks sweater. He is also well on his way to being known as the greatest American born player to ever live. He has been a remarkable player ever since he stepped foot onto NHL ice. The 2019-20 season has been very good for Kane. In fact, offensively, it was one of the best seasons of his career.

He entered the pause with 33 goals and 51 assists for 84 points in 70 games played. That is a 98 point pace over a full 82 game schedule. The 33 goals were a 38 goal pace as well so an extra hot week could have seen him hit 40 goals and 100 points. He was one of the very best players in the NHL once again. He continues to grow his legacy as one of the great Blackhawks players ever.

Kane deserves absolutely no blame for this team not being very good. In fact, he deserves praise because if it weren’t for him they would likely be more towards the bottom of the overall league standings. It is a shame that the Blackhawks are wasting some all-time great years from Kane so they really need to figure it out soon. He won’t be this good forever.
