The Philadelphia Eagles are the team that made the playoffs with a 9-7 record last season. They were the beneficiaries of one of the weakest single-season divisions in recent memory. It isn’t going to be hard for them to have a better year in 2020 as they should have much less injury trouble. With that said, they still might be looking to improve their roster this season.

Things have come full circle as Nick Foles made his way to Chicago after defeating them in the “Cody Parkey Game”. Now, Carson Wentz needs a backup in case he gets hurt. He is often injury-prone so bringing in a guy like Mitch might be a good idea for a backup. They would be wise to take Mitch and a third-round pick for their backup tight end Dallas Goedert.

The Eagles have Zach Ertz in the mix right now so they could give up a backup tight end for a backup quarterback. It would be a wise move by both teams because the Bears desperately need another tight end that could help them. The Bears signed Jimmy Graham this week but he is past his prime. They also have Trey Burton, but he hasn’t been anybody who helps the Bears that much either. Goedert might be the guy who could come in and really help out.

It is a little sad that it has all come to this for the Chicago Bears quarterback situation but it is what it is. They have a very good defense that can lead them to the promised land as long as they have a competent offense to go with it.
