Trade 1

The Chicago Bears gave up a fourth-round pick for Nick Foles. They could try and get it back by trading Mitchell Trubisky to the Denver Broncos for a fourth-round pick. It may seem like a big loss because the Bears used second overall on him but that is the way it goes. Trubisky has very little value right now with the way he has played. Denver might be willing to pay that to the Bears for Mitch.

Denver has Joe Flacco and Drew Lock currently in the fold. They are probably going to cut ties with Flacco next season, but Trubisky would be able to go in there and at minimum be their backup. Flacco didn’t have a very successful first year with Denver after coming over from the Baltimore Ravens. They also might want to add another quarterback to the mix in the event of an injury. This could be the play for a team like Denver.

The Broncos have had some stud quarterbacks throughout their history but have been in a bit of a rut since Peyton Manning retired. They are known for being a high-quality organization so maybe a fresh start for Mitch there would be good for all that are involved.

Let’s not forget the relationship aspect of it. Vic Fangio knows Trubisky from his time in Chicago. As for the Bears, getting that fourth-round pick back would be nice too.
