The Oakland Raiders are officially the Las Vegas Raiders. The location of their team might not be the only thing that changes about that franchise. Under John Gruden’s leadership, the team has had a bit of an overhaul. One of those big steps was trading Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. It looked like the Bears ran away with that trade when it first went down but it has since leveled out. It is still unclear who the winner of the trade is as each team got something they needed.

Another player the Bears should try and pry away from them is Derek Carr. He has been their quarterback ever since they drafted him in the second round, 36th overall, in the 2014 NFL Draft. He is well under .500 in his NFL career but the Raiders have been horrible as a team in pretty much every year except one. He had a really good year statistically in 2019 despite going 7-9.

Carr completed a remarkable 70 percent of his passes. He had 21 touchdowns to only eight interceptions and 4054 yards passing. It appears that Marcus Mariota is making his way to Vegas so that could mean that Carr is on his way out. That is why the Bears should jump on him. It might be a mistake for Vegas to trade him but the Bears could take full advantage. He is probably the best option they have, in a realistic sense, going for them right now.
