3. WR Robby Anderson

This is one name that the Bears likely will miss out on due to price but they should still consider it because anything can happen during NFL Free Agency. Robby Anderson would be the perfect deep threat that the Bears need to make Allen Robinson more expendable.

As of right now, the Bears have four wide receivers on the roster who are locks to make the 53-man roster in 2020: Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller, Javon Wims, and Riley Ridley. However, they need to add a fifth player to truly beef up the depth chart which is why Anderson is such an intriguing option.

Anderson is just 26 years old and slowly risen to be the New York Jets wide receiver over the last four years. Since entering the NFL in 2016, Anderson has 207 receptions, averaging 14.8 yards per catch, and 20 touchdowns.

He’s a guy whose market will be lucrative which also means that he could quickly be out of the Bears price range. However, if the Bears decide that they really want Anderson, then they’ll need to restructure some contracts in order to create additional cap space. Anderson will likely want a four or five-year deal with at least $25 million dollars in guaranteed money at the time of the signing.
