2016 World Series highlights

Oh, what we wouldn’t give for it to be 2016 again.

The excitement. The anticipation of the next game. The awe of the history unfolding in front of our very eyes. The memories with loved ones. The pure bliss of seeing the team that we love and follow all year round to be thriving at the biggest stage in baseball.

2016 can never be replicated. Even when the Cubs return to the World Series, it just won’t be as sweet as the first time.

Those highlights will just never get old. While each day brings uncertainty and new challenges, the perfection of the sights and sounds of Cubs history will forever bring a sense of comfort and euphoria to fans even in the darkest of times.

Just a simple YouTube search of 2016 Cubs highlights will bring up a plethora of awesome moments from that season. Everything from Jon Lester‘s suicide squeeze bunt in August to Travis Wood‘s pinch-hit home run in the NLDS to the moment that Bryant’s throw popped into Rizzo’s mitt for that final out of Game 7, they’re all there.
