Ballpark Food

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, please let Cubs baseball soon come back.

Though we can’t actually sit in the Wrigley Field bleachers until at least May, we can still eat like we’re in the Wrigley Field bleachers.

Peanuts, Cracker Jack, hot dogs (no ketchup), nachos, pretzels. Plenty of options to keep in the cupboard and fridge while we wait out the virus and the return of sports.

Though it’s certainly good to add in fruits and vegetables to say healthy between the ballpark meals, the stadium comfort food may be just the ticket to help get us through while our tickets aren’t good for anything.

You could also never go wrong with some good frozen deep dish pizza, sure to last a couple of days (okay, maybe a couple of hours). Throw in some ice cream for dessert. Maybe a soft drink for those who prefer to avoid beer and wine.

And for those of you who happen to have a cotton candy machine in your house, you’re really in luck!

We should probably stress that if you’re looking to stock up on non-perishable foods, we recommend going ASAP. At this rate, baseball may be back by the time you get to the cash register.
