2. NBA Draft Lottery odds affected

There is a whole lot of irony here, people. With the league on hold, I’d like for everyone reading this to take a moment and just throw out a guess of where you think the Bulls are projected to pick in the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft.

Just go ahead; toss out a number. Four? Five? Eight? Nine?

More from Da Windy City

You can’t make this stuff up. In fact, I can’t help but laugh as I type the number seven. Yes, seven — the Bulls currently have the best odds at coming in at pick no. 7 overall in this year’s draft. For those keeping track, that would be the fourth straight season with Chicago picking at number seven.

How is that for what qualifies as “the most Bulls thing ever?”

Who knows what would have happened had the season continued. I mean, really. It could have gone one of both ways. The Bulls were coming off a game in which Coby White made his all-important first start, and they won!

With White’s ascension giving fans hope, maybe the Bulls ripped off a few more wins and made something of the tail end of this season. Or, they could have gone the opposite route, going on to some bizarre and embarrassing losing streak. The latter option seems more believable as a Bulls fan.

But, White’s play has helped relieve some of the pain of this season, and I would be lying if I said he didn’t make me just a little excited about the future. Still, at this very moment, the Bulls’ Draft Lottery odds would have them picking at no. 7. What a world we live in.
