Trade 2

The Chicago Bears desperately need to improve their offense. They drafted David Montgomery in the third round last season for him to take over for Jordan Howard as their starting running back. Well, that should make Tarik Cohen expendable. He is more of a gadget type running back but the Bears seemed to misuse them both in 2019. That is on coach Matt Nagy but the quarterback might make it hard to make the right decisions.

With that said, Foles is worth trading Cohen and a fifth-round pick for, especially if they get a pick in return once again. They have David Montgomery to take over as the full time back and you never know who else they bring in with him. Cohen seems to be a guy who just doesn’t have a real place on the Bears offense. Trading him might also take the ability to misuse the running backs away from Matt Nagy.

The Jaguars also have Leonard Fournette who is a very good running back. He is the starter, of course, but Cohen would help lighten the load and take care of passing downs to also extend Fournette’s career down the line. If that were the case, and the Bears started Foles in a winning season, this could be the type of trade that works out for both teams.
