1. Ryan Tannehill

I am a firm believer that the Titans will find a way to keep both Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. But, in case they decide to go the route of a certain Brady guy, I have to mention Tannehill in the conversation here.

Let’s look at the facts. Tannehill had his career stripped from him once the Miami Dolphins gave up on him. He went to the Titans as a backup, was given the chance to take over the starting position and never looked back. At 32 years old, Tannehill finally showed the world who he is. He knows who he is as a quarterback.

The guy is a fierce competitor. He’s proven he can be a leader of men, operating an offense like a true pro last year. All he needed was to escape the grips of Adam Gase — that’s a funny topic for another day.

At this stage, the guy wants an opportunity to start once again and win a championship. He’s not getting any younger. Truthfully, I think his best fit is to stay with Tennessee. But, if he ended up hitting the market, I think Pace would be wise to find a way to bring him in.

Like Winston, Tannehill can throw the long ball and isn’t afraid to do so. Adding that element alone would be a huge lift to the offense.

Where he differs from Winston, of course, is how he takes a bit better care of the football. Winston fumbled 12 times last year, while Tannehill did so just six times. Tannehill in a Bears uniform would instantly make this team a scary competitor, as would a few different guys, actually. But, for the sake of this argument, Pace has to shoot his shot if Tannehill ends up on the market.
