1. Jalen Reagor | TCU

Prior to the NFL Combine this week, I would have told you there was absolutely no way that TCU product, Jalen Reagor had a chance to fall to the Bears. Well, the NFL Combine happened and it did not go as planned for the Horned Frog star. For as much confidence as Reagor had entering the combine, it’s safe to assume that the Waxahachie, Texas native probably wasn’t thrilled with his overall outing.

Now, Reagor ran a solid 40-yard dash, clocking in a 4.47-second 40-yard dash. However, this was a bit disappointing given Reagor described himself as a mix of Tyreek Hill and Deebo Samuel. While I compare Reagor more to the likes of Nelson Agholor, both for better and worse. Reagor plays the game with some juice and is very twitchy when watching his maneuvering, but a lapse in concentration from time-to-time leads to a handful of drops per season.

Reagor is a player I really enjoyed breaking down during the evaluation process due to this ability to reach top-speed quickly and because he’s able to operate at all three levels of the field. Reagor’s nuanced route-running and playmaking ability would be a welcomed addition to the Bears receiving group.

Next. Chicago Bears QB Rumors.... dark

I get that it might be wishful thinking that Reagor falls to the Bears in the 2nd round, but it would not surprise me if General Manager Ryan Pace decided to move up a handful of picks to secure one of this year’s top receiving prospects; if Reagor does happen to fall into Round 2 territory.
