4. Brandon Aiyuk | Arizona State

The former JUCO product, Brandon Aiyuk was by far the slickest player on the Sun Devils this past season. The Sierra College transfer isn’t going to blow by you with his 4.50-second 40-yard dash, but rest assured Aiyuk is about as dangerous as a down-field threat as he is after the catch.

Displaying a knack for being “slippery” in the open field, Aiyuk would bring an element to the Bears offense that they’ve been missing. Not only could Aiyuk stretch the field, but he’s also capable of taking a screen pass in for a big score. While Aiyuk is projected to be selected on day 2 of the draft, I could see the Bears making him a priority with 1 of their 2 second-round selections.

In my opinion, Aiyuk reminds me a lot of Seattle Seahawk receiver, Tyler Lockett. With a weapon like that, one can only imagine how many hours Matt Nagy could spend in front of his office wall whiteboard, scheming and strategizing. Will Aiyuk be there for the Bears in the back half of Round 2? My guess is he will be given how deep this receiving class is. In any other year, Aiyuk is most likely a top-40 selection.
