Stan Bowman needs to go

The Chicago Blackhawks have completely ruined what was the best run going in the NHL. That has come because of salary cap mismanagement, trading away the wrong players, and incompetent moves made by those in charge. This trade deadline further proved that. There were moves made that were the right moves but the return that they accepted was downright wrong.

Lehner is one of the best goalies in the world. He would give a team that is “a goalie away” a legit chance to win the Stanley Cup. Instead, Stan traded him to a team that already has an elite goalie for a return that doesn’t feel worth it. They got back Malcolm Subban who is a borderline backup, a former fourth-round pick prospect, and a second-round pick.

There have been players over the years that have not been as good as Lehner but gone on and fetched their teams a way bigger return than that. A lot of people believed it was a real possibility that Chicago would end up with an extra first-round pick thanks to Lehner. Instead, they settled on this deal with Vegas. They also completely mishandled Erik Gustafsson. He was never really put in a position to succeed to his full potential. Those are all reasons why Stan no longer should be the general manager of the Chicago Blackhawks.
