Oprah Winfrey

If you thought the last one was bad, well this one might be even worse on the laugh scale. Hopefully, you at least understand where I am coming from with the Barak Obama ownership and will hear me out when it comes to Oprah Winfrey too.

The Oprah Winfrey show was hosted here in Chicago and Winfrey considered Chicago her primary residence for many, many years. Winfrey has the money to own and buy the Chicago Bulls outright. She would not need to have to sit on any panels.

Just like Obama, Winfrey would not be afraid to spend money. You know the phrase, “you get a car, you get a car, everyone gets a car”? Well, she could bring that fun mentality to the Chicago Bulls franchise. Now, Winfrey does not seem to be a huge fan of basketball, but she knows plenty of important and intelligent minds. She could easily hire basketball minds to surround herself and the best part, those minds would not include Gar Forman and John Paxson.

Could the city entice Winfrey to come back though? Reports are that she does not miss the city and living here in Chicago. Maybe owning the Chicago Bulls franchise would change her outlook though? I do not know about you, but I am ready to hear, “you get a championship, you get a championship, everyone gets a championship” when referring to the Bulls.
