The Blackhawks need some help at the forward position. They are a team that is pretty top-heavy but could use some depth there. They have the likes of Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Alex DeBrincat, Dylan Strome, Brandon Saad, and Dominik Kubalik to create a good top six.  Unfortunately, the bottom six forwards don’t provide enough offense to be confident in.

It would really help if they added someone who can help with that. The Senators have a few forwards who could do that including Vladislav Namestnikov. He was traded to Ottawa Senators by the New York Rangers early this season. He was a piece that went to the New York Rangers in a blockbuster trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is a solid depth scorer that has also proven he can be extra productive if put in the right situation.

His best year came when he spent it on a line with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov. He had 20 goals and 24 assists for 44 points in 62 games with that line. Then mid-season, he was traded to New York where he would only score 2 goals and 2 assists for four points in the remaining 19 games. It was a clear drop off after dominating with the Lightning.

Right now, he is currently having a pretty good season in his role with the Senators. He has 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points in 47 games played. If that kind of depth was brought to the Hawk’s fourth line, that would be a really nice edition.
