The Chicago Blackhawks have Patrick Kane representing them in St. Louis for the NHL All-Star game. The Central Division should be a treat to watch.

It has been a pretty crazy last few days for Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks. First, an assist on a Brandon Saad goal on Sunday was his 1000th point in his National Hockey League career. Then on Tuesday, the Hawks honored him in a game that Joel Quenneville made his first return to Chicago since being fired. Now, he is in St. Louis to represent the Hawks in the NHL All-Star game.

Kane will play for Team Central Division in the 3 on 3 tournament. He will be joined by Nathan MacKinnon, Ryan O’Reilly, David Perron, Mark Scheifele, Tyler SeguinEric Staal, Roman Josi, Alex Pietrangelo, Jordan Binnington, and Connor Hellebuyck as his teammates. That is a remarkable group of players led by MacKinnon who is the team captain. Kane leads the team in All-Star appearances as this will be his ninth.

Kane has been outstanding this season. He has 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points. He is on pace for 101 points. That would put him over the 100 point plateau for the second year in a row. It is impressive to see Patrick Kane seemingly better as time goes on. He is now over 30 and he has shown no sign of decline. There is a decent chance that Kane’s play this year sneaks the Hawks into the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

It is going to be a fun time for Kane playing in the building of the Blackhawks’ biggest rival. He is sure to get a not so warm welcome when the announce his game ahead of the tournament. The funny thing though is that Kane is playing on the same team as all of the Blues players. They may boo him when they announce his name but they will sure cheer if Kane helps their Central Division win the games.

It is unclear who Kane will play with during the 3 on 3 play but it can be said that a trio of Kane playing with Nathan MacKinnon and Tyler Seguin would be so much fun to watch. There are only two defensemen on the roster so you never know. Either way, Kane is going to be out there with and against some of the world’s greatest hockey players. It is must-see TV for all fans of the sport.
