Patrick Kane

Showtime! Patrick Kane is having another banner year for the Chicago Blackhawks. The 30-year-old plateau hasn’t hit Kane at all. In fact, you can argue that he has gotten even better over the past few seasons. The Blackhawks were able to supplement Kane’s talents early in his career but the second half of his career hasn’t seen the team be that good. The thing is, they are a little bit better this year and could be back in the playoffs if everything goes right.

One of those things going right would be Kane continuing his great play. He currently has 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points. He should end right around the 100 point plateau for the second year in a row. He just scored his 1000th career point a few days ago and was recognized for that great milestone. He has had an elite career and should walk into the Hall of Fame with ease.

Kane does, however, need to keep on this pace in order for the Hawks to be a playoff team. It is less than ideal to say that one player needs to have a 100 point season for a team to have a shot at the playoffs but that is the way it is. They have some other forwards that can score but Kane needs to be heavily involved.
