The Chicago Blackhawks have been good lately. There are plenty of reasons to believe that they will be in the playoffs again this year.

The Chicago Blackhawks have been one of the better teams in the entire National Hockey League over the last two weeks. They went into the bye week and All-Star break winning five out of their last six games. They have put themselves within three points of the playoff line going into it as a result. They have a lot of reasons to be very excited as a team and should have their hopes set high.

Coming out of the bye week, the should have their sights set on the playoffs as an organization. They don’t necessarily have to be buyers at the trade deadline but the players could see this as an opportunity to make it into the playoffs. They have momentum right now so if they can carry it into the stretch run of the season they could absolutely get in. The roster looked like a bubble team going into the season and right now that is exactly where they are. It was not pretty to start the season but fans should be extremely happy with where they are at right now.

This team can win in spite of the horrible moves that Stan Bowman has made over the past three seasons. They have some of the things leftover from the dynasty years that can help them get back. It is hard to say how they will do if they do get in and are forced to play a team like the St. Louis Blues or Colorado Avalanche but it is fun to think about.
