Alex DeBrincat. 2. player. 94. . RW. Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks have come to rely on Alex DeBrincat to score. He is a very important player for this team going forward. He has scored goals at an elite level just about everywhere he has played. He had 28 goals in his rookie year and 41 goals last year. That is an impressive rookie total followed by an elite total in year two. His third year is not going as well so far. He only has 12 goals in 51 games so far this season.

We all know that he is an elite goal scorer that is just having a hard time right now. He is going to come out of it but it is just a matter of when. The Blackhawks sit three points out of the playoffs right now without DeBrincat contributing that much. If he ended up picking up the pace to his normal production level, the Blackhawks would have a much better chance of making it. If he had closer to 20 goals right now as he did by this time last year, they might even be currently in a playoff spot.

This does not even slightly suggest that the Blackhawks problems are all DeBrincat’s fault but if he elevates his game again it will surely help. Out of all of the players on this list, he has the best chance of being a real impact player. DeBrincat is a gifted goal scorer who just needs to come out of his current cold streak.
