Tigers . Ja'Marr Chase. 1. player. 817. . WR

Ja’Marr Chase is a fan that NFL fans should learn. He was an absolute stud for LSU in the National Championship. He was their leading receiver in the game and it wasn’t particularly close. Joe Burrow loved throwing to him in all situations. It is clear that he could be effective in the NFL if put in a position to succeed. The Bears aren’t all that good at the position outside of Allen Robinson so Chase would be a solid addition.

Chase is a sophomore so he has to play at least another year for LSU before entering the NFL Draft. This could be a situation where the Bears look at him by this time next season. It is unclear how good that LSU is going to be but Chase will have a better idea of where he is going to go in the draft. He is a great receiver right now and the Bears could really use some of that.

As far as Chase as the best receiver for LSU in the entire game, that is proof that he can handle the big stage. There might not be a bigger stage until he makes it to the NHL. He had nine receptions for 221 yards and two touchdowns. He was able to get it done for Burrow which is why he threw his way so often. The Clemson defense didn’t have much of an answer for him all game long. The Bears would be very wise to keep him on their radar going forward. All they need to do is find a quarterback that can hit him the way Burrow did as well.
