Chicago Bulls Rumors: Players who could be dealt before trade deadline

Mid Tier Names
Lauri Markkanen
Since being drafted as the seventh overall pick three years ago, Lauri Markkanen has simply not lived up to the bill. He was supposed to be a versatile stretch four who could shoot the three and also give you an athletic guy in the paint to hoard the glass.
It seems as though Markkanen may have taken a step back this season, as he’s only scoring at a 41.9 percent clip and posting 15.4 points per game. The Bulls were counting on more from him, and he hasn’t delivered.
Thaddeus Young
There have already been reports of Thaddeus Young not being happy in Chicago, and he’s only in the first of his three-year deal with the Bulls. Young’s contract is fairly tradable and will pay him over $13 million next season and over $14 million the following season.
So far, he’s playing just 22 minutes per game and averaging 9.0 points, 4.5 boards and 1.9 assists per night. Young is a high-effort type of player whom would be incredibly useful on a team looking for help on the wing.
As a solid defender and a known leader in the locker room, maybe a team like the Philadelphia 76ers would make a deal for Young. Either way, it seems like he might want out — and is one of the more likely candidates to be traded.
