Chicago Blackhawks: Two goalies the team can trade at the deadline
Corey Crawford has been one of the elite goalies in the league for a long time. He might not be the same guy that he once was but he is still a very serviceable goalie. He also brings lots of experience to the table as he is a two time Stanley Cup Champion goalie. It is hard enough for one guy to win one Cup but he has won two. A resume like this would help out just about any team in the league looking to help themselves.

He would even make a good backup for someone who has a young developing goalie trying to take over. He has shown over the course of his career that he can be that guy who plays a majority of the games but he can also be the guy who comes in when necessary. From the experience that he has there is no doubt that he could also be one of the leaders in the room and on the bench for any team that needs some of that.
Crawford is having a decent season while splitting time for Chicago while playing on an expiring contract. He doesn’t have a team that plays great defense in front of him but his numbers being what they are in spite of that is decent. He has a record of 7-11-2. His goals-against average is 3.14 with a .905 save percentage. Those are both ways off his career average but the Hawks team playing in front of him is nowhere near the same. If he went to a new team that plays a solid structure he could see those numbers on the rise.
It is hard to predict what next season will bring for Crawford but all that matters right now is what Chicago decides to do with him. He has a no-move clause so they would need his permission to trade him away to a contender. He is one of the greatest players in franchise history so he definitely deserves the respect of finishing his career on a high note if he wants. He very well could just come back next year as well but he is definitely an option for a team looking for goaltending.
