Chicago Blackhawks: Two goalies the team can trade at the deadline
The Chicago Blackhawks might be running out of time on their season. There is a lot of hockey left to be played but teams would pay a premium for goalies.
The Chicago Blackhawks are not going to the playoffs in all likelihood. If they do go on a run and see themselves making it then they should keep all of their players and try and get some young players the experience of playing in the playoffs. If not, they should sell off all of their big-name expiring contracts at the trade deadline. Teams will play a major premium if they can get a player who is good at a position of need.
Every team that believes that they have a chance to win the Stanley Cup will do what is necessary to give themselves an even better chance to win it. There are also teams who value getting in because of the experience it could give their young players and the revenue it brings in. The Blackhawks know all about that too well thanks to their dominance over the last decade or so. They have been one of those teams to acquire some pieces at the deadline to give themselves a better chance.
One thing that is super important in the playoffs is goaltending. Most of the elite teams across the league have that one stud that they can count on every game. That is not the case for everyone, however. There are also teams that have only one reliable goalie and would be in big trouble in the event of an injury to the said goalie. The Blackhawks would be able to help out more than one of those teams looking to add a netminder for their playoff run.
