Chicago Bears: 5 potential free agent adds from Wildcard weekend

Running Back Lamar Miller, Houston Texans
This is an intriguing one, mainly because I am sure a lot of folks have forgotten about Lamar Miller. The Houston Texans went out and got Carlos Hyde after Miller sustained an early season-ending injury in 2019, and now Miller is a free agent this spring.
I am a firm believer in the notion that the Bears need to pair another running back with Montgomery, and either trade Tarik Cohen or use him strictly on punt returns and as a gadget guy here and there.
If Miller is healthy, he would be a solid, underrated signing. Miller has always been a good running back — never great, but good at everything.
He offers you the ability to catch the football and possesses strong vision. He and Montgomery would be an ideal one-two punch as they can both do multiple things well. Granted, that’s assuming the Bears have a semblance of an offensive line in 2020.
Miller has two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt in seven seasons and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2018, believe it or not. Prior to his injury in 2019, Miller had stayed healthy his entire career, only missing seven games in seven seasons.
