Chicago Bears: 5 potential free agent adds from Wildcard weekend
By Ryan Heckman
Cornerback Logan Ryan, Tennessee Titans
One of the most impactful decisions Ryan Pace can make this offseason is to part ways with veteran cornerback Prince Amukamara. Two years ago, Amukamara signed a 3-year, $27 million deal with the Bears. This spring, the Bears can get out of that contract and save $9 million in doing so.

I strongly suggest Chicago does so, and I think most fans would agree with me on that. Amukamara was fine for his two seasons, but the Bears need an upgrade opposite Kyle Fuller. Amukamara is consistently beat, and it has hurt them big time.
One of the guys available this spring is Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan, who is part of one of the more underrated and lesser talked about defenses in the league.
The Titans won’t ‘wow’ you with their yardage given up, but giving up just over 20 points per game in 2019, Tennessee was stout when it needed to be. Ryan was a big part of that.
This past season, Ryan had arguably his best season as a pro. He finished with career-bests in tackles (113 combined), passes defended (18), quarterback hits (seven), sacks (4.5), forced fumbles (four), tackles for loss (four), and the second-most interceptions of his career (four).
Ryan would be a great addition to the defense and a big upgrade over Amukamara. The question is, how much money will he demand and will Pace be able to afford him?
