As the Chicago Bears offseason gets underway, how do the Bears needs rank?

Heading into the 2019 NFL regular season, the Chicago Bears were seen as having one of the most complete rosters in the NFL. However, heading into 2020, it’s clear that the Bears have more needs than most thought.

This means that the man who’s in charge of building the Bears, general manager Ryan Pace, will need to figure out a way to get the Bears back to relevance. As Pace heads into his sixth offseason with the Bears, this could also be his last because he’s clearly on the hot seat heading into 2020.

To this day, Pace’s biggest miss has been the quarterback position. However, this offseason, he’ll need to own up to his mistake and figure it all out, perhaps for the final time. However, besides that, Pace will need to figure out key areas such as the offensive line, inside linebacker, cornerback position, and safety position.

The biggest thing that people will look at is the quarterback position. Bears fans are clearly tired of being in quarterback purgatory and it seems like every time the Bears bring in a new quarterback, the team always does something wrong which leads to the quarterback failing.

The clock is clearly ticking now. The Bears can still salvage a roster that includes elite talent such as Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith. However, how the Bears should address each of the positions listed above remains to be seen.

Some will say that it’s best that the Bears use free agency as a way of plugging roster holes. However, some are of the opinion that it’s best for the Bears to use the 2020 NFL Draft as a means of rounding out the roster.

As the 2020 NFL offseason begins for the Bears, how to the Bears needs rank? Additionally, how should the Bears address each of their needs? We’ll answer all that as we get ready to break everything down.
