3. Trade No. 3
One of the latest rumors involving the Bulls has the Los Angeles Clippers interested in acquiring Bulls forward Thaddeus Young. The Clippers are one of the upper echelon teams in the league right now, and could be definite title contenders. However, they recently found out their starting point guard Patrick Beverley will be out a few games to do a hand injury.
Beverley was one of the rumored free agents to end up in Chicago this past summer, but ultimately chose to stay in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old veteran is from Chicago and, on one hand, would probably enjoy coming home. But, he may not enjoy being part of a rebuilding project. In any event, this deal would give the Clippers another strong addition to their rotation while the Bulls get JaMychal Green along with Beverley.
The Clippers would also receive Dunn to help their point guard depth, but ultimately I think the team would roll with Landry Shamet and a heavy dose of Dunn off the bench.
All three of these deals might be unlikely, but personally, I think the team should explore some bold options. The organization is heading no where as long as Gar Forman and John Paxson are involved — not to mention Boylen.
Which package would you like the most, should the Bulls be active around the trade deadline? It’s all in fun, but give us your thoughts on what you’d like to see, even outside of these deals.
