Goaltending is the most important position in the National Hockey League. Without it, you are going nowhere. Antti Niemi had a good playoff run in 2010 to lead them to the Stanley Cup. With that said, Corey Crawford took over the next season and turned into one of the best goalies to ever play for the organization. He would go on to be the guy who led them to two more Stanley Cups in 2013 and 2015. He was lights out in both the regular season and playoffs during his time in the NHL.

He is still with the Blackhawks to this day after being drafted by them in the 2003 NHL Draft. He has been their go-to basically since he took over back in 2010-11. He now shares time with Robin Lehner as they form a strong duo for the modern-day team. He has been with them through thick and thin. Winning the Stanley Cup as a number one goalie is not easy and he did it twice.

Crawford has a career save percentage of .917 and a goals-against-average of .245. He has won the Jennings Trophy twice which goes to the goalie duo that gives up the least amount of goals. He came in 4th place for the Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie in 2011 and was top ten in Vezina Trophy voting three times. He has been one of the better goalies of the decade and deserves all of the credit that he gets.
