Chicago Blackhawks: Ten best players of the 2010s
You know you had some really good players when Patrick Sharp is as low as eight on a top ten list. He was one of the most gifted offensive players on the team throughout the years. He scored some big goals and earned his nickname of “the sharpshooter” for a reason. He was part of all three Stanley Cup championships with Chicago. Only a handful of players can say that and Sharp is one of them. He was very versatile to the point where he would score goals no matter who his linemates were or what line he was on.
Sharp scored 249 goals and had 283 assists for 532 points in 749 games played with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was known for being a goal scorer but there is no doubt that he was very good at making plays as well. He had some big moments scoring goals in both the regular season and the playoffs. He was absolutely considered a part of the core and there is no way they do that much winning without him. He was such a great player for such a long time and the Hawks were lucky to have him.
He technically had two stints with the team. The Hawks were forced to trade him after winning the Cup in 2015. He played for the Dallas Stars for two seasons and had some success there as well. He then returned to Chicago on a one year deal to finish out his career where he had so much success. Sharp is one of the best Blackhawks goal scorers ever and has a rightful spot amongst the 2010s best Blackhawks.
