Over the past decade, the Chicago Bears have had a few players which became incredibly polarizing.

Before I get totally obliterated in the comments, I feel the need to say that I’m aware the decade doesn’t technically end until the end of 2020. However, as a Chicago Bears fan who isn’t getting ready to watch and write about this team in the playoffs, I’m choosing to go this route instead.

Still, I’m prepared for the comments.

Anyways, this was a fun list to come up with. It’s especially fun because, knowing Bears fans, there will be plenty of disagreements on the following players. But, that’s what made these guys polarizing.

Polarizing: Divide or cause to divide into two sharply contrasting groups or sets of opinions or beliefs.

Quite honestly, there may not be a more polarizing Bears team in the past decade than we’re seeing right now. For starters, head coach Matt Nagy has caused a plethora of divide between fans in 2019. Play-calling has not been ideal, to say the least.

We know about the quarterback conversation this season and going into next year — we’ll get to that later.

This team should have been much better, but their current state has fans in a frenzy. With so much expectation, this isn’t what we all wanted to see. Unsurprisingly, there is much divide when it comes to what the Bears should do in terms of answering big-time questions in 2020.

Like I said, this team is a polarizing one. But, over the last decade, which players have caused the most divide? I’ll give you five — and hopefully you have a strong opinion on each, one way or another.
