Trade No. 2

Once again, this deal involves both LaVine and Holiday. But, this time it’s Tomas Satoransky and a future second round pick getting thrown in. And, instead of Favors coming to the Bulls, the Pelicans would send Josh Hart.

For the Pelicans, they get a much-needed boost at the guard spot. Zach LaVine has proven he can be a guy who takes over offensively, and with teammates like Ingram and Williamson surrounding him, it would give him less attention from the opposition and more time to do damage. We know the main priority for defenders will be Williamson, once he is healthy.

In Chicago, Holiday would finally solidify the point guard position for the Bulls. He is a threat to score and a threat to distribute, and he’s been doing it for a few years now. Holiday is exactly the kind of player the Bulls have been missing at point guard.

With Holiday in the fold, it would open up a chance for Coby White to slide in at the shooting guard position, which he has looked more natural playing this year. White can still absolutely facilitate, but he’s looked more like a shooting guard at times this year, and I think the position would fit him well.
