Chicago Bears: 15 best NFL Draft Picks of the 2010’s
By Usayd Koshul
This name and this ranking is perhaps the most controversial on this entire list. There’s no denying the fact that the Bears fanbase is split on Mitchell Trubisky and some are willing to give him another chance in 2020 while some are hoping that he isn’t the Bears starter in next year.
However here’s what’s undeniable: Under general manager Ryan Pace, the Bears have had players like Jay Cutler, Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley, and Brian Hoyer start at quarterback at some point. Of that group, Trubisky hasn’t been as good as Cutler but his play has at least been better than guys like Glennon.
Trubisky did put together a more than solid 2018 season that saw him toss 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions despite missing two games. He’ll always be compared to guys like Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes but he still has one more chance to put together a solid 2020 season that could see him eventually end up being the Bears future franchise quarterback.
In a few years, there’s no denying the fact that Trubisky’s ranking on this list could end up changing entirely. He could end up being much higher than he is or he could end up being off this list. Time will tell but now, it’s crazy to think that Trubisky has been the Bears second best quarterback in the 2010s/
