3. Kansas City currently sits in 3rd place in the AFC playoff picture. While a home playoff game eventually appears as if it will happen, does this team have what it takes to go to New England or Baltimore in January and eventually make a Super Bowl run?

Oleszczak: I’m sure my answer to this will make me sound like the ultimate Chiefs homer, so that’s why I’m going to alert your readers that I’m typically Negative Nancy when it comes to my sports teams. A month ago, I’d have laughed and said “No way!” to this question, but now, I think the Chiefs can absolutely go into either of those cities and leave with a victory. They’ve beat both teams already and the win over New England was IN New England. Baltimore might be a little trickier, but KC is 2-0 against them since Lamar Jackson took over, so I wouldn’t be all that worried if this match-up did take place.

Takeaway: The Chiefs have played both the Patriots and Ravens in 2019 and have beaten both which means that this team’s confidence is through the roof right now. While the playoffs are a different story, the Chiefs believe that no matter where the playoff game is, home or away, they can easily present an intriguing and difficult matchup for anyone that they’ll need to face when the playoffs roll around.

Just a year ago, the Chiefs hosted the New England Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Championship game that saw the Chiefs score 24 points in the fourth quarter to eventually tie the game but still lose it in overtime. However, this year, there seems to be a different feeling in Kansas City in regards to what this team can accomplish.
