1. Matt Nagy has been under Andy Reid virtually his entire NFL career, first as coaching inter in Philadelphia and then as a quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator in Kansas City. What was the general opinion of Chiefs fans while Nagy was in Kansas City and has this changed since he’s come to Chicago?

Oleszczak: Chiefs fans really liked Matt Nagy while he was here and were bummed to see him leave. At that point though, we had grown accustomed to seeing our offensive coordinators get offered head coaching jobs, so it wasn’t like it was anything new. While it’d have been great to have Nagy around for Patrick Mahomes’ first full season last year, we all saw how well he did without Nagy here. The offense has been just fine without Nagy in town.

Takeaway: Even without Nagy around, the Chiefs have been totally fine. Andy Reid has consistently been able to train moving in the right direction over the last few years after some of his brightest students like Matt Nagy and Doug Pederson have gone on to get head coaching jobs. While Nagy was responsible for the development of Mahomes, he’s been fine even without Nagy and the entire offense continues to operate at a high level as a result of this.

Bears: Tough situation for fans going into Kansas City game. light. Also

The Chiefs have shown no indication of slowing down anytime soon and this is the kind of offense that will continue to perform at a high level with the entire core under contract for the next few years even with Patrick Mahomes ready to sign a big contract extension over the offseason.
