On Championship Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers and Ohio State Buckeyes put some future NFL talent on display.

The Chicago Bears are in the middle of a potential late-season comeback at the moment, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t start paying more attention to the college talent coming out this next year. Saturday’s Big Ten Championship Game is a perfect example of one field housing several future NFL players.

At the moment, Chicago is 7-6 and hoping for a little bit of help from fellow NFC teams competing for a Wildcard spot. Just a few weeks ago, though, a lot of folks were already focused solely on the 2020 offseason — funny how things can change so quickly.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, fans are already excited for the 2020 NFL Draft. The Bears don’t have all of their picks, so it will be a crucial weekend for general manager Ryan Pace.

When watching the Big Ten Championship, of course there are a few players who will be off limits for Pace and the Bears. Without a first round pick, there is no chance they’re in play for guys like Chase Young, Jonathan Taylor or Jeffery Okudah. Heck, even if they were in the market for a running back, even J.K. Dobbins would be tough to land.

However, there are plenty of other players on both sides who will be suiting up on Sundays next fall. The Bears have some decisions to make on current players and 2020 free agents, which will of course influence the way they draft. But, putting all that aside, these four prospects from the Big Ten could end up filling a need or two.
