1. Allen Robinson

For those who would be fine with the Bears cutting ties with Allen Robinson next offseason in order to save some cash, I urge you to think differently. Robinson is one of the most talented receivers to ever put on a Bears uniform.

What he is able to do with poor (or even mediocre-at-best) quarterback play is more than impressive. He’s done it his entire career, too. Robinson’s catch radius is sometimes taken for granted because of how quiet the Bears’ passing attack can be, but he is one of those guys you can throw it up to and, more often than not, he’ll come down with it.

Robinson has been the go-to guy for Mitchell Trubisky since the two found their groove later in the season last year. This season, Robinson accounts for just about a 25 percent target share. Take his 86 targets away, and the next closest is Tarik Cohen with 61 or Taylor Gabriel with 45. The Bears offense would be historically bad without Robinson (if they aren’t already).

We don’t know what will happen at the quarterback position in the future, but what should remain constant is Robinson in a Bears uniform. Let’s not take his talent for granted. We should be thankful for a guy like him, with his skill set, and his desire to be in Chicago.
